So, the silly ojiisan didn't put his birthday on the forums... so none of us knew it!

Except I am friends with him on Facebook, so I knew it. Mwah!

Happy 24th birthday dude!

If you had bothered to do that encode, we could have TOTALLY released that for your birthday...!

Tsubasa TOKYO REVELATIONS - Now on FUNi-Network
[1 comments]Posted by Skr on 07-24-2010 at 02:57 PM

So I'm a fan of FUNimation, and I like to support them in anyway I can. We subbed Tsubasa TOKYO Revelations back a few years ago, and I can truly say it was my favorite project that I have ever worked on. Doubt anyone who comes here that likes Tsubasa has yet to see it yet, or if anyone who is looking for it would come here over somewhere else, but I though I'd post this up

The first episode is now streaming on their site. I can't say when the other two will be up, but I'm guessing one each week. So episode two would be next Friday, and the final episode the week after that.

FUNimation grabbed the license to this OVA as well as Shunraiki (which we never got to release) back earlier this month. Since they are already getting the subtitles up for TTR, I'm hoping that the DVD set will be out later this year with Shunraiki to follow. They sadly haven't picked up xxxHOLiC Kei, Shunmuki, or Rou... which is sorta weird since Shunmuki and Shunraiki go hand-in-hand. Guess we'll have to wait it out and see.

So anyway, go watch it now. Even if you've already have seen it, it's a great watch and could easily be seen again

Is anyone else...

...amused that Xros Wars is being oversubbed?

There are four subs out for episode two that I've seen... wowz

Remember when WtW/DATS was the only one that did the TV version of Savers? :3

For those that haven't already watched the first two subs, here they are by Ryuu-Rogue for your DDL pleasure:

Come on Splash, onkei!

I mean, seriously, it's been out for like, 12hours (or is it 13?)

WHY DO WE NOT HAVE SUBS?

Who cares if it's a lot of work? We need subs NOW.

<3

(If no one else gets this, I'm saying that Ryuu Rogue will be doing Xros Wars, and it's the awesomeness of onkei's translations, so you should be watching for their stuff, and don't bother with anyone else's)

Deltora soon. Maybe?

Enbu/Hero Tales on FUNi-network

For you peeps in the United States, FUNimation has posted some officially subbed episodes of Juushin Enbu up on all their different video sites. They've translated the constellations... which I'm not too fond on, but hey, whatever. Hagun is now Alkaid... so I guess they are killing the Chinese stuff. Anyway, check them out, about to myself (if my connection will stop dropping). Hopefully the dub will be a winner.

Edit:
So they actually have some of the Chinese names in place. The group's home temple is called Lian Tong. So we'll have to see about the capital and what not. None of the characters' names are Chinese-ified though, even though Pazuzu apparently thought they should have been/were. AND HOLY SHIT. THEY MADE THE KENKANRANBU INTO CHINESE! FUNI > YEN. WE NOW HAVE THE XIAN JIA WAN WU. FUNi is awesome. Oh, FUNi... why do you do this to me? Sir Taito? You use honorifics on everything else recently. Please add them back for the DVD releases. You can't be totally traditional outside the constellations... but then translate the honorifics.
